FACE: (Short for Babyface). The "Good guy". EG, The Rock.
JOB: To deliberatly loose a match.
JOBBER: Somebody who frequently looses, somebody who JOBS.
JOBRONI: Slang word for a JOBBER.
ANGLE: A storyline or a planned event which helps to promote matches and feuds.
FUED: When two or more wrestlers supposedly hate each other which leads to lots of angles and matches.
MAINEVENTER: A wrestler who is one of the top draws for the company and wrestles in the mainevent, usualy in connection with the world title. EG, Goldberg, The Rock.
KAYFAYBE: When a wrestler acts out of his character. EG, a HEEL being nice to the fans.
MIDCARDER: Somebody who is not quite mainevent status, neither is he a jobber.
HOUSESHOW: A show that is not taped for TV.
DARK_MATCH: A match on a Tv show that is not taped for TV. Usualy before the TV tapings begin. (Kurt Angle wrestled a lot of DARK MATCHES)
CARD: The matches on a show.
PUSH: When a wrestler wins lots of matches to make him look good and PUSH him further towards the mainevent.
POP: When the fans cheer for something a wrestler does.
OVER: When a wrestler is OVER with the fans, he is poplular with the fans.
MARK: Somebody who believes everything in wrestling is real
MARK OUT: To get verry excited or worked up when something happens in wrestling. (EG, I marked out when DX re-united, Dale marks out all the time (Joke!))
PROMO: When wrestlers talk about their upcoming matches and feuds in order to promote them. Usualy for the PPV.
PPV: Pay Per View. The big events such as Starcade or Wrestlemania were only the best (apparently) wrestlers work.
GIMMICK: The wrestler's personality which helps to get him OVER with the crowd. EG, The Undertaker.
FINISHING MOVE: A move that a wrestler uses to end his match. Usualy has a name connected with the wrestler. EG, Stone Cold Stunner.
